It was such a joy working with Wolf Grey. She was recommended to us by my best friend, who also had a house renovation led by her. Ellie’s taste, calm and clarity of thought was so critical when navigating this large house renovation, opening up our downstairs space to make a large family kitchen [new roof], two new bathrooms plus render and new windows for the entire house. She was centrally involved from day one, visiting the house and immediately having the vision that the focus of the house view needed to de re-directed from the street to the garden. She led the project design, building regulations and planning application with precision and speed. She was very regularly in attendance throughout the build and always available by telephone (we spoke daily throughout the project). She had excellent established professional working relationships with each tradesman employed, which minimised and quickly resolved unexpected issues. The result, only a year from conception, is well beyond our expectations. Our house is now a beautiful family home, that we regularly get complemented on. Ellie was integral to our renovation build. We had quite a complicated planning process (living in a conservation area and having a listed building adjacent), but Ellie navigated the systems for us and was a huge reason why our planning was accepted. "Our project was 2 story back extension. I wish we had taken Ellie much earlier on the project. Our timeline was very tight but she was able to quickly judge our taste and create initial mood boards. By the time builders started digging and breaking the walls we already had a view of how the whole thing will look once complete. She also gave good suggestion on the internal layout although we had submitted the planning application and had finalised internal walls(we could still change it as it did not require planning permission). We always felt that she was available 24x7 for us even for the smallest query. We became so dependent on her that we always took her view on every little thing.
